February Announcements
Leader Recognition. We held our annual Eagle Scout and Leader recognition banquet in February. But did you know that you don't have to wait until February to recognize the leaders in your unit? At our February Roundtable, Lyle Russel presented an excellent summary of the awards, AKA "knots" to recognize adult leaders in Scouting. Den Leader? There's an award for that. Scout leader? There's an award for that too. Be sure to recognize the leaders in your Den/Troop/Crew. And, don't forget yourself when filling out those forms.
Camp Cards are ready to be picked up. Contact Derek if you haven't picked up yours yet.
Family Friends of Scouting. Be sure to contact Derek to arrange a presentation from Family Friends of Scouting to your unit. Your unit can get free rank advancement for simply having the presentation. And, those who donate $250 can get a patch recognizing the donation.
Recharter. If you haven't completed your recharter, please got those in. Contact Kim Hetrick (270-703-4494) or your unit commissioner for assistance if needed.
Have youth interested in high adventure. Contact Van Ayers (573-275-1299) for details.
This year is the 100th anniversary of Middle Tennessee Council. In celebration we will host a camporee April 3-5 at Camp Arrowhead. Contact Ed Land for more information. See https://www.mtcbsa.org/anniversary/SpringCamporee for guidelines and registration information.
